Hi!  Thanks for visiting WYNK, Lifestyle Nutrition! One of the best things life has to offer is knowing that you have helped another person with something important. Most would agree that health is really high on life’s ‘important’ list’ – and that’s why I’ve made paying health wealth forward my mission.  

‘Good’ nutrition is not always apparent and because of this, our society is the unhealthiest its ever been! The American diet is making us sick, making our kids sick, crippling our medical system and showing little signs of improvement. I help others realize that they do not have to fall victim to this imbroglio. I want you to know that by tweaking your lifestyle you, too, can regain control. Your best health and well-being is within your reach and is usually much closer than most realize! 

My career started like most Registered Dietitians – working in hospitals and food service. Eventually that turned into food sales, management and distribution. As time passed, I was continually frustrated by the amount of bad information being shared in the form of hospital food, school food service, military menus and the constantly evolving dieting crazes created to dupe the public. After 30+ years in the Food and Nutrition business, I knew ingredients had become disastrous and our food supply was not only void of healthy ingredients, but being replaced with fake food.

When T. Colin Campbell, PhD presented The China Study in 2004, we finally had the science needed to support whole food, plant-based nutrition in order to move education forward with the whole truth confirmed. With continued research by world renowned experts dedicated to evidence-based science such as Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Alan Goldhamer we know that nutrition is the true key to longer, healthier lives – void of chronic disease.

In 2012, WYNK – what you never knew – was created to amplify the lack of nutrition education. Wynk’s mission is to change ‘what you never knew’ by empowering you with information in a transformation I like to call: ‘what you now know.’ Classes and individual consultation will equip you with the knowledge and support needed to move forward with confidence to take control of your health.  Food choices are important to your physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health and can oftentimes be used to prevent, treat, prolong progression and even reverse chronic disease(s). Food choices affect everything – even your sleep and awake times.

Today, I uphold the philosophy that optimal health and well-being is primarily the result of our most important skill – eating right.  It is my goal is to empower you with knowledge, and to work with you to get where you can, and want to be.
